What does a loan signing agent do?
A loan signing agent is a commissioned notary who meets the borrower at closing, verifies identity, witnesses the signatures on the loan package and completes the notarial certificates.
My paralegal training provides a thorough command of document requirements. I review every signature, initial and date before the package is returned.
I present each document and identify it by name. Questions about loan terms or the legal effect of a document should be directed to your lender, title company or attorney.
I carry $25,000 in Errors & Omissions insurance.
