Need a document notarized for someone in custody? I visit jails and detention facilities in accordance with each facility's professional visit rules.
How does a jail notarization work?
Please provide the individual's full name, booking number and facility when you book. I confirm visiting times and entry requirements with the facility in advance.
The individual must have identification the facility accepts. Many facilities hold an inmate's ID, and I will tell you what to request from the facility.
The document must be fully completed before the visit, with only the signature left blank.
The jail rate includes travel and notarizations. Lockdowns and count times may delay a visit.
